Sadly, on the 10th August 2020 Kay Evans passed away following a short illness that was recently diagnosed as Pancreatic Cancer. During this time she embraced her family and friends and showed them once again her strength and love.

Although our family has not directly experienced Cancer in the past it’s difficult to find someone who hasn't been affected by Cancer either directly or indirectly. During the difficult past few weeks it’s been a huge comfort to our family to have been supported by the wonderful Rennie Grove Hospice Care nursing team who provided 24x7 care and made Kay’s wish to remain at home with her family during her illness possible. Until recently we had not appreciated the hospice care provided by Rennie Grove is only possible via charity donations to cover 87% of it's costs.

We’d like to honour Kay’s strength and bravery that came with a wonderful sense of humour by raising some money to help support the fantastic service Rennie Grove Hospice Care nurses provide.
